DANA GILL, MPA | Founder and Principal

Dana, who founded MESH in 2016, is an external relations leader with over two decades of experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors— from local communities to global contexts. Known for her strategic vision, adaptability, and trusted leadership, she is an expert in government affairs, advocacy communications, partnership management, and public policy. Dana has shaped state and federal legislation and regulatory actions and contributed national and international narratives in top-tier media outlets, including The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and Rolling Stone.

A distinguished communicator, she leads live and virtual sessions that inform policymaking, delivers inspiring keynote addresses to diverse audiences, and crafts publications to foster awareness and action on urgent challenges. As an active member of the Public Affairs Council and a dedicated mentor, Dana loves helping new generations of professionals to excel in their fields and create a better, brighter world.

HANNA DARROLL, MS | Advisor

Hanna is a strategist, policy advocate, and investigative journalist with eight years of experience serving the public and non-profit sectors. With a human-centered approach to policy, advocacy, and communications, her mission is to amplify important stories that propel policy change, inspire collective action, and positively shape our world.

Before joining MESH in Fall 2024, Hanna was the Global Health Campaign Officer at Médecins Sans Frontières, where she helped secure access to 3.6 million more tests for infectious disease diagnosis annually in low- and middle-income countries. As an investigative reporter, she has exposed wrongdoings committed by federal and state agencies, top pharmaceutical corporations, public and private prison systems, and other powerful actors.

Hanna was awarded a Toni Stabile Investigative Fellowship at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where she also received her Master of Science. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
